This competition is all about inspiring hope in people and we can’t wait to be inspired by you!

Entries are being accepted now, so send us you best image – or images – that fall into one or more of the themes below. We have assembled a team of world class judges who will decide the best photos from each category and then the best overall image.

There are two categories – Student (up to 18 yrs) and General. Professional photographers and amateurs are welcome to enter.

As well as winning a major photography prize, the winners’ photographs will be displayed in an exhibition at the Heart of Gold ilm festival in March 2009.

The exhibition will feature alongside a dazzling line up of Heart of Gold festival events, including heart warming short films from around the globe, insightful seminars and Q&A sessions with Australian and international film makers.
