VOLUNTEER expression of interest

Volunteer roles are now open for 2025 and we’d love to hear more about you and what you’d like to get out of your volunteering experience. Whether you’re looking to get more involved with our non-for-profit organisation, support our special events or just jump on board for the Festival, we want to find a spot for you to be part of the action.

Some example of roles include:

  • BILLET A FILMMAKER in your home, and essential part of our filmmaker hospitality that really sets us apart from other festivals.

  • DRIVERS take filmmakers, jury members and special guests to and from the festival.

  • HOSPITALITY team members take care of all the visiting filmmakers, ensuring they have a special time in our region. 

  • USHERS take shifts during the festival guiding audiences to their seats.

  • TECH AND PRODUCTION behind the scenes audio visual, essential to the festival! 

  • ART WITH HEART team sell tickets for the Art with Heart raffle to fundraise. 

  • BAR STAFF take shifts serving the festival crowd.

  • TICKETING staff handle our ticket sales.

  • PRESENTERS introduce the films at the start of each session and host filmmaker chats.

  • SET UP & DECOR help get everything up and running and beautify the venue.

  • MARKETING which includes everything from assisting with social media through to putting up signs in our region.

  • INTERNS support the Festival team and gain valuable insights into the Film Festival’s operations.
