This Town music video project

Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival is collaborating with local folk artist, Elke Louie to help create a music video for their new single ‘This Town’ (listen now where you stream your music).

We are inviting young creatives and enjoyers of film and music to join us in the creation of this project. You will use film equipment, build storyboards, directing and acting in a small team facilitated by an experienced musician and filmmaker. This is a great opportunity to build your skills and experience the film and music industry.

The music video will premiere at Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival this September and then on Elke Louie’s platforms including Youtube.

If you live in the Gympie region, are under 25 years of age and have an interest in film and music, come learn the ins and outs of making a music video in a weekend!

Project dates: 22 and 23 August 2026 (participants must be available)

Register your interest to participate by 16 August 2026.

You must be under 25 years of age, live in the Gympie region and be available for the weekend of 22 and 23 August 2026.
