Ann White was born in South-east Queensland and spent most of her adult life seeking opportunities elsewhere. Reconnecting with her roots 18 years ago, she found the time and space for self-expression and has continued to develop her drawing and painting skills ever since.
Ann was declared Overall Winner of the Eclectica exhibition at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre in 2022. The following year she received a Highly Commended in the drawing category at the Mary Valley Art Awards and was a finalist in the Local Artists Local Content Art Prize at Caloundra Regional Gallery. Her most recent solo show was at the Butter Factory in 2023.
