Lyn Fox - The Unicorn Realm

$10.00

Artist: Lyn Fox

Medium: fabric, beads and natural hematite stone

Dimensions: 75cm x 95cm

A handcrafted unicorn, shaped in fabric, stands as the central figure. Its form soft, yet structured, with fine stitching and bright hues. Encircling it are gleaming hematite beads, their metallic sheen contrasting with the unicorn’s gentle texture. There’s a merger of whimsey with grounded elegance, blending the fantastical with the earthly allure of a natural stone cave.

This is the very first time I have exhibited any creation I have made. I was born in Victoria and have been living in Queensland for 34 years. I have always been creative selling at local markets and with age, developed more skills and patience with my projects. Creating things that are different and sharing what I love with friends gives me joy.

I don’t have a professional artistic background, just a deep love of colour and design. Even at high school in needlework,  I could never just do a cross stitch or nightie, I had to design an elaborate project, well outside the criteria.
